Da Vinci Impasto Brush Series 5025 Mottler
Da Vinci Impasto brushes are made with the thickest synthetic fibers available. The extremely strong and thick bristles in these mottler brushes make them excellent for heavy body acrylics, oils, and water-mixable oils. They are a favourite with impasto painters, who use thick applications of paint. The unique thickness and strength of the Impasto brushes make them perfect for moving large amounts of colour in bold expressive strokes, and for working with thickening mediums.
These impasto mottler brushes have been designed to be used with texture gels and pastes and are like an elastic “painting knife brush”.
Short blue polished handles with seamless nickel-plated brass ferrules that are rust-resistant.

Da Vinci Series 5073 Fit Synthetics Mottler Brushes
The Da Vinci Fit Synthetic Mottlers are made of very elastic short synthetic fibers. The dark grey synthetic-bristle is excellent for spreading gesso or varnish and are ideal for painting large washes, backgrounds and underpainting. For controlled background applications of colour use the mottler to maneuver heavy-bodied paints with ease.
