Jacquard Pinata Ink is highly saturated and vibrant and can be used on a range of surfaces including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, leather, resin, polymer clay and more. It’s impervious to water and can be re-wet with alcohol to achieve effects and techniques that can’t be achieved with water-based inks.
Pinata Inks are Dye based and are highly transparent. The outstanding adhesive properties of this ink teamed up with their extremely light-fast dyes used in each colour make it the ideal choice for fluid art on non-porous surfaces.

Jacquard Pinata Colours Clean Up Solution can be used to clean up surfaces and brushes which have been used with Jacquard Pinata Colour Alcohol Inks.

For cleaning brushes or sponges, you can use regular rubbing alcohol to remove most of the Pinata Colour from them and then use Jacquard Pinata Colours Clean Up Solution for the final rinse to keep your bristles soft and pliable.

Gum Arabic is used as a binder medium for a variety of applications. Use with water and Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments (or other dry pigments) to make your own transparent watercolours, washes, stamping and calligraphy inks. For use on paper, wood or any surface that will not be washed.

Gum Arabic produces a glossy, easy to brush or stamp on paint that easily mixes and cleans up with water.

Add the Gum Arabic to your pigment in a ratio of 1 part gum to 4 parts pigment (ratio of gum to pigment may be adjusted for different effects). Slowly add water and mix until the desired consistency is achieved. Solutions of gum and water may also be prepared and stored in a cool place for later use.

Lumiere metallic acrylics has been created using Pearl Ex pigments. These paints can be used on wool, silk, paper, cotton and synthetic fabrics.

These colours remain true even on black and dark fabrics. They can be heat fixed with a hot iron are acid free and easily clean up in water. Lumiere won’t crack, peel or chip even on flexible surfaces like fabric, leather, vinyl or rubber. Adheres well to non porous surfaces like ceramics a metal. They are also light fast and weather resistant with excellent coverage on dark grounds.
