Shiva Oil Stiks are highly pigmented professional grade artists’ oils in a convenient stick form. Made from quality pigments that have been blended with linseed oil and solidified with a wax base that can be blended or spread and are compatible with any oil paints.
Unlike conventional oils, Shiva paintstiks are dry to touch in 24 hours.
Designed for direct application on all traditional surfaces. They are great for textile designs. The wax in the stick allows the artist to draw directly onto the surface without the need for brushes, mediums or solvents.
They create a self-sealing protective film when they dry to reactivate the stick just peel off the seal before using. There are no unpleasant odours or fumes. Non-toxic and hypo-allergenic.
The oil sticks have a rich buttery consistency.
