Atelier Pouring Medium 250ml

Atelier Pouring Medium is a high gloss, low-viscosity, high-grade pouring medium which can be used to create fluid effects and pouring techniques with acrylic based paints for horizontal pouring application. It helps to thin the paint, making it more fluid without compromising the paints strength, vibrancy and transparency.

Atelier Pouring Medium is designed to keep your colors vibrant, lightfast and true in your artwork. The glossy finish and ultra-clear properties of the medium enhance the appearance of your colors, so you can relax knowing you are using only the best.

This medium can be used over the top of a dry acrylic painting to give a resinous looking finish.  It can also be applied to plastic sheets and be peeled away to create interesting acrylic sheets when dried.

Atelier Pouring Medium is self-levelling and dries to a gloss finish. The addition of a few drops of silicon oil into an acrylic paint and pouring medium mixture will promote cell formulation in you artwork. Use a slow folding action in the mixture and allow to stand for a minute to allow any air bubbles to rise to the top. Texture mediums can also be added either to your mixture before pouring or added onto the painting surface.
