The Da Vinci Fit Synthetic Mottlers are made of very elastic short synthetic fibers. The dark grey synthetic-bristle is excellent for spreading gesso or varnish and are ideal for painting large washes, backgrounds and underpainting. For controlled background applications of colour use the mottler to maneuver heavy-bodied paints with ease.

Each brush can hold an enormous amount of colour making them an excellent all-round brush.
