Derivan Liquid Pencil Permanent is a unique and innovative product to open up new possibilties with your graphite artworks. Created using natural graphite powder dispersed in an acrylic polymer emulsion, the liquid pencil has a creamy consistency like paint, but with the sheen and burnish of graphite, allowing you to easily cover large areas or create washes similar to watercolour.

Each of the shade variations give each colour in the Derivan Liquid Pencil range unique properties. There are distinct undertones such as blue, yellow, red, and sepia, in addition to neutral greys providing the user wider scope for creating wonderful sketches and drawings. Derivan Liquid Pencil has been formulated to be easily thinned with water to spread more easily on paper. The water also allows you to achieve lighter or darker results via dilution.

This non-toxic innovative product allows you to create a variety of graphite pencil shades for your pencil sketches using a liquid. You can apply Derivan Liquid Pencil with a brush, nib, or other art tools allowing you to sketch with a fluidity and expressiveness not previously attainable with conventional graphite media.

Derivan Liquid Pencil pigments are all rated ASTM 1 therefore they have the most permanent lightfastness.
