Water mixable oils (aka. water soluble oils) are regular oil paints that have had a molecule modified to allow them to mix with water. This means you can clean up with soap and water!

These oil paints are rich and creamy and apply just like traditional oil paints with the lovely ability to blend and layer but can also be mixed with water and dry much faster than regular oil paint!

This set is incredible value for money and includes a wide range of 36 colours allowing you to experiment and find your favourite colours. These 18ml tubes go a longer way (than acrylic paints), so this set will get you up and going and once you discover the colours that you love the most and you can then order those colours in a larger tube.

This set is perfect for anyone starting out with oils as you can wash in water and don’t have to use solvents! These paints can also be mixed with regular oil mediums such as linseed based mediums or solvents as well as other paints like acrylic and gouache!

This Mont Marte Water Mixable Oil Paint dries to a satin finish. It is a medium to heavy bodied paint which can be diluted with water. Drying times vary between colours and thickness of coatings.
