The Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils are artist quality colour pencils for drawing and colouring. The use of the highest quality materials, combined with over 250 years of experience, have resulted in watercolour pencils that produce unsurpassed watercolour effects and vibrancy as well as excellent lightfastness. On each pencil stars are imprinted on the barrel representing the number of years that they will remain resistant to fading.

Thick 3.8mm break-resistant and fully water-soluble leads, can be easily blended when wet and become permanent when dry for rich watercolor effects. Depending on the paper being used, the pigments can be completely dissolved, and will then behave in the same way as classic watercolour paints.
