Backorders

What are Backorders?

If an item is stated as being on Backorder, this means the product is not currently in stock.  You can still order the product. If the item is not already on order with the supplier, we will order it in for you.

When are Items Sent?

If you purchase a backordered product as part of your order, your entire order will not be sent until all backordered items have arrived in. We make exceptions for this for orders over $200.  

When we receive backordered products in from the supplier, we send out your order on the same day as it is received - the only exception to this is if the item is received in from the supplier late in the afternoon - in this case your parcel will be sent out the next day.

When you checkout, shipping is paid for one shipment only, if you wish to have your order sent out to you in multiple shipments, you will need to pay additional shipping fees. Exceptions are made to this for orders over $200.  If you decide you would like multiple shipment sent out to you, you can pay the shipping fees for the additional shipment and we will do this for you.

How Long Does It Take for Backorders to Come?

Most backordered items arrive in within a week to two weeks from when you place your order. There are of course exceptions to this, as if the suppliers are out of stock or there are delivery delays coming from our suppliers items can take longer.  

We cannot guarantee an exact date as each product will be different and will vary depending on the timeframes for suppliers to dispatch and shipping.

Can I Cancel my Backorder?

If you have ordered a backordered product and decide you no longer want to wait for your order, we can refund the backordered item and send the rest of your order to you. Just contact us by phone on +61 (0)7 5663 6883 or email us at support@articci.com.
