Phoenix Watercolour Canvas Pads are ideal for both professionals and students for use with watercolours and gouache paint. These watercolour pads are 250gsm, acid free canvas. There are 10 canvas sheets per pad. Watercolour canvas is more resilient than watercolour paper and can endure harsher treatment. This allows the artist to work without the fear of damaging the canvas through blotting, scraping, or scratching.

The difference between watercolour canvas and regular canvas is that watercolour canvas has been prepared to withstand the watery nature of watercolours and has a modified surface that helps absorb the media in a similar way to paper.
