Matisse Gloss Polyurethane Varnish can be used as a final protective varnish over acrylic artworks where a gloss finish is required. This water-based varnish is non-yellowing with a high gloss finish. This varnish is flexible, water-resistant and fast drying. You can use this varnish directly from the bottle.
This varnish can not be used over oil based paints or oil based antiquing finishes and is only recommended for rigid surfaces not paper, canvas or flexible surfaces.

Matisse’s Flow Formula is most suitable for artists who require flowing strokes. It has a free flowing texture and a lower viscosity than Matisse Structure Formula. The versatility of Matisse Flow lends itself to many techniques – such as use in an airbrush with minimal dilution, mural painting or faux finishes. Ideal for glazing when thinned with a medium such as the MM7 Polymer Gloss Varnish.
